Welcome to Inklings & Imprints

Deep etch red rubber stamps from our own original art. Most of our stamps are created so that they work well for embossing velvet, while still being great as paper stamps, fabric stamps, wax, PMC (precious metal clay) stamps - almost any surface stamps. We will be adding more content to this site, including some tutorials and stamping projects. Browse through the links to the left to see what we have up right now.

Whatchamacallit?...or: What's in a name?

First, there was Maggie Bags. Then, as the focus of the business shifted to the design and creation of rubber stamps, the name was changed to "Inkandescence" (and that is the Etsy shop name - can't be changed without setting up a new account). Plans were underway to move all content over to an Inkandescence website, but feedback started coming in that people were having trouble finding us online - they weren't sure how we were spelling Inkandescence. Although a name change wasn't a desired thing, it seemed better to make a quick decision and do it before any paid advertising, etc., was undertaken. So here we are: Inklings and Imprints. That should be it for a while!

Feel free to look around and return later to see updates.

Thank you for visiting!
